Chefchaouen – Fes

Chefchauen
The city of Chefchaouen, located between two mountains, is a city of houses painted in white and blue limestone, whose strong charm comes from the square "Wata Al-Hammam" in the center of the ancient city, paved with smooth stone. From the terrace of the cafe you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Great Mosque "Tariq ibn Ziyad" with its octagonal minaret, whose architecture was inspired by the golden lighthouse "Torre de Oro" in Seville. The Kasbah and its gardens, located in the heart of the old city, also bear this Andalusian architectural style. As for the eleven walls and towers, one of which was used in the past as the main fortress, there is a wonderful ethnographic museum.
